Upcoming Hip-Hop Artist

So there's a good friend of mine named Brandon Thompson whom I work with and he asked me to listen to some stuff he's been working on. So I used the link he gave me to visit his myspace music page and I really did like it. He's got alot of talent that I think will be widely enjoyed. He fits into the category of good hip-hop such as artists like common, nas, and lupe fiasco. I feel that artists such as these are very scarce these days, seems like most of the new stuff coming out is more so rap which I believe to be very different. What I like about Hip-hop is more often the song actually has a subject rather then just a repeated phrase or someone talking about how rich they are and what size their rims are. So I just wanted to take the time to share this guy with fellow bloggers to help him get a little publicity. His MC name is Bstar and his label is called Upright Lions.
